  • 0

Pointing a Domain Using A Records:

  1. Access Your Domain Registrar's DNS Settings:

    • Log in to the account where you registered your domain (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, Hostinger).
    • Navigate to the DNS management section.
  2. Create or Modify the A Records:

    • For the root domain:
      • Look for an existing "A record" for your root domain (often represented by "@" or left blank). If none exists, create a new one.
      • In the "Value" or "Points to" field, enter: 173.249.54.190
    • For the "www" subdomain:
      • Create another "A record" with:
        • "Host" or "Name": www
        • "Value" or "Points to": 173.249.54.190
  3. Save Changes:

    • Save the changes you've made to your DNS records.
  4. DNS Propagation:

    • Remember that it can take some time for these DNS changes to propagate across the internet.
