Troubleshooting: Unable to Login to Client Area and cPanel (Incorrect Username/Password) Problem?

Problem: You are receiving an "incorrect username/password" error when attempting to log in to Client Area and cPanel:

Explanation: It's important to understand that Zauca provides two distinct sets of login credentials:

  1. Client Area Login:
    • This login is for accessing your Zauca client area (at https://clients.zauca.app/login).
    • It uses the email address and password you registered during your Zauca account creation.
    • You have the ability to reset this password through the client area's password recovery process.
  2. cPanel Login:
    • This login is for accessing your cPanel control panel, where you manage your website's files, databases, emails, and other settings.
    • These login details (username and password) are auto-generated by our system and were provided to you in the "New Account Information" email you received upon signup.
    • This is a different username and password than the client area login.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Verify the Correct Login Area:
    • Ensure you are attempting to log in to the correct interface.
      • For cPanel, use the cPanel login URL provided in your "New Account Information" email.
      • For the client area, go to https://clients.zauca.app/login and use your registered email and password.
  2. Locate Your "New Account Information" Email:
    • Search your email inbox (including spam/junk folders) for an email with the subject "New Account Information."
    • This email contains your auto-generated cPanel username and password.
  3. Copy and Paste Credentials:
    • To avoid typos, carefully copy and paste the cPanel username and password directly from the "New Account Information" email into the cPanel login fields.
  4. Confirm the cPanel URL:
    • Make sure you are using the correct cPanel login URL. This URL is also located in the "New Account Information" email.
  5. Password Reset (cPanel):
    • If you cannot locate your "New Account Information" email, or the password is still not working, contact Zauca support. Cpanel password reset is done by the hosting provider.
  6. Client Area Password Reset:
    • If you are having trouble logging into the client area, you can reset your password using the "Forgot Password" from https://clients.zauca.app/password/reset  option on the client area login page.

Key Reminders:

  • The cPanel login credentials are not the same as your client area login credentials.
  • The "New Account Information" email is crucial for accessing your cPanel.
  • If you continue to experience login issues, please Contact Zauca Support for assistance.
